This studio mix has been recorded while I was following the (shameful) results of the recent Italian political elections 2013. I was pretty angry for the useless vote that resulted in a non-governable country and in a political chaos and more hard times for Italy. Which made me think at my good friend, burner and raver Miss Dusty Purple, who recently added a new ink job to her tattooed body, the awesome statement “Hard Times Require Furious Dancing” – yes, the one I used for the cover art of this mixdeck. Thanks Marghe! Furious Dancing? That was exactly what I needed to forget the elections, so I plugged my headphones and started mixing. This is the result of a very pissed off studio session, so there might be a couple of minor fuck-ups in the mix, but I hope you’ll enjoy it anyway. Remember: hard times? Just dance the worries away.
