My third time at Rumpus in the last year, and the infamous London party is growing bigger and better. At its third anniversary, Rumpus “ramped up” to a larger venue, leaving behind the historic venue in North London in favor of the much larger, 12-rooms multistage Coronet Theatre on the South bank of the Thames. It’s been a very good Rumpus, the way parties should be! For the first time at Rumpus I didn’t close the dj session, but I was at the end of the night anyway, with a DJ set scheduled between 3AM and 4Am. I had a great feedback from the session, with the room packed and everybody down to dance, sweet! I played as part of the line-up of the Room n. 12, home to the cool DJ collective Wonderland. i had a great fun in the Wonderland room, thank you to everybody: DJs. artists and public! The recent Barcelona Burning Weekend was another amazing Euroburners’ gathering. A magic place with a Gaudi-esque castle in the woods near Alcover in Catalunya, with burners friends and family from all over Europe, and the right awesome attitude from all participants. As usual, I have been pretty busy on several fronts – from leading a shift at the Gate to helping out for tear down and more, including building a Temple! Yes, the Temple of the Light at the End of the Tunnel, here are a few pictures of it on Facebook! On the DJing side, I played two techno DJ sets on Friday night and on Saturday night. I forgot to record the Friday night set, and the one on Saturday, while it was pretty good (everybody was dancing), was mostly killer tunes I already published here with some of my recents DJ sets. So I’m now sharing the warm up downtempo DJ set I played in the woods on Friday afternoon, right after the set up of the Temple. I hope you like it!
