Here is my recent DJ set for Burning Bar Berlin, a Burning Man community event organized in conjunction with the first official Burning Man European Leadership Summit – and… my first ever DJ gig in Berlin! I know today Berlin’s sound today it’s all about minimal, deep and other b-pitcheries, but as my first ever DJ gig in Berlin I wanted to pay a tribute to the techno sound that inspired me long, long time ago… so here we go with a full on industrial rave techno set, my personal tribute to the early Tresor days. Here we go, the NeverFuckingStop Festival has finally arrived. My burners friends PiouPiou, Cocci and Matilduz have been planning to create a Burning Man-inspired festival for some times, and here it is. In a sunny spring day, at the Parc de la Villette in Paris, we took over My Boat, a club with a terrace and a view on the Parisienne channels, where artists, performers and burners gathered all day and night in a creative environment. And of course we danced. A lot. I played a starting set as Morphinauts, but I also had the pleasure and the honor to play the closing set of the night. I admit, this DJ set has been particularly furious, a true techno rave like I haven’t been playing for a while, after my exploration of the power-house beats from Suara – but I liked it, and everybody has been dancing like it’s Berling circa 1996.
