Introducing my new Burningmax Time Machine project. Starting today I will publish every month a mix that goes back in time. Not so back anyway, I’ll keep it contained to this century. Let’s start with the first instalment in the Burningmax Time Machine series, a mix entirely dedicated to the tunes I loved to play in my DJ sets, and that have been released in 2009, the year that I actually started DJing. Each mix of the Time Machine series is meant to be pretty eclectic, as I create a sound journey that goes through techno, house, drum’n’bass, progressive electronica, psychedelic beats, chill dance, and even ambient, if needed. My third time at Rumpus in the last year, and the infamous London party is growing bigger and better. At its third anniversary, Rumpus “ramped up” to a larger venue, leaving behind the historic venue in North London in favor of the much larger, 12-rooms multistage Coronet Theatre on the South bank of the Thames. It’s been a very good Rumpus, the way parties should be! For the first time at Rumpus I didn’t close the dj session, but I was at the end of the night anyway, with a DJ set scheduled between 3AM and 4Am. I had a great feedback from the session, with the room packed and everybody down to dance, sweet! I played as part of the line-up of the Room n. 12, home to the cool DJ collective Wonderland. i had a great fun in the Wonderland room, thank you to everybody: DJs. artists and public! Just moved to an amazing new house in Barcelona, where I will be living with some of my favorite burners friends.
