Everybody knows that I’m not a fan of dubstep, but I’m not so radical. Every now and then I like to drop the dubstep bass (or noise) also during a techno set. And it’s always fun. And when the occasional dubstep comes with electronic 808 beats and hip-hop roots and rhymes, then I’m hooked – or shall I say trapped? Welcome to Trap Music! I have been dropping the occasional trap music tune every now and then since the beginning of the year, mostly the dubby stuff by UZ and of course the Harlem Shake! It was about time that I challenged myself in creating a new entirely trap mix – just to skill up with the new beat, and also to prepare for the forthcoming Nowhere and Burning Man gigs, where I’m sure I’ll drop some trap shit!
