Last weekend I djed for a friend’s 50 birthday party and it’s been lots of fun. At first, I was supposed to play for the whole night but I decided to launch a “call for djs” among our group of friends, and a couple of them signed up.
They were supposed to play by plugging in their phones and USB keys; unfortunately, we lacked adaptors for their gear, so I kept playing for 6 hours. I felt sorry for them, but I kept playing for 6 hours, and I loved it. Here is the original line-up we sorted out for the night.
Here is the result:
- a 2 hours warm-up with soulful happy (increasingly acid) house beats,
- followed by 2 more hours of solid techno, trance, bass and breaks;
- or the closing part I went “active chill” for another couple of hours.
