A light art piece that is also an harsh critic to the corruption of the Vatican across the centuries, and the progressive degradation of social, political and economic power of religions (all of them). Check out a photo gallery here.

LUNG-TA STREET ART
Another offspring of the Lung-ta project, this time consisting in a series of street art interventions around the city of Rome. All project info at burningmax.com/lungta.

BREATHE

BREATHE STREET ART
I printed hundreds of stickers to promote the Breathe installation. and placed them everywhere around Rome, many of them close to iconic spots of the city. And I took pictures of each of them. H2O PROJECT

ORWELL MONEGROS REMIXED
While in the Monegros for the 2019 Nowhere festival, I returned to the Orwell trenches to see how the desert was treating my 2017 installation. I’d planned for the red pigment to fade off within 4 years, but it was almost all gone in just 2 years. So I gave the installation a 2019 remix. TREE OF LIFE

50 SHADES OF GREEN
Interactive installation dedicated to cannabis culture and activism, with olfactory sensorial paths. Italian tour 2019 completed – European tour canceled because of covid pandemic. More project info at burningmax.com/50shadesofgreen.
2018
THE ZONE
Site-specific land art installation for Italian Burning Boots 2018. One km of red rope stretched around trees and branches to create an autonomous zone in the woods. The installation is visible during the day but also at night, as half of the rope was painted with glow-in-the-dark red painting. The installation was meant to be temporary, but the owners of the land asked me to leave it, so it became permanent. Campicozzoli Woods, Mugello (Florence). APELLE

HOMENAJE A ARAGON

HOMENAJE A LOS MONEGROS
Permanent site-specific land art installation in the trenches of the Spanish Civil War where George Orwell fought; the installation is the center piece of the Orwell Monegros project. TEMPLE OF TRANSITION
The largest collective art project I ever participated to, and one of the biggest art installations ever seen at Burning Man. Black Rock City, Nevada, USA. Google “Temple of Transition Burning Man” for plenty of articles, pictures and videos.

BAMBOO BIOCONSTRUCTION BILBAO
A collaborative project for the Bilbao Botanical Gardens where I learned a lot from master bioconstruction builders. Bilbao Botanical Gardens, Spain. A photo gallery covering the pre-production workshop retreat is available at this link.

TAKE CAKE OF OUR MEMORIES / RED RAIN
A collaboration with Serbian-born and Rome-based artists and friends Jelena Hadzi-Nikolic and Dada Nikolic, with a twist from Burningmax. Read more about this project, or check out a photo gallery here.

ROOMS OF CONSCIOUSNESS
A light-art, post-it based installation I created for a collective exhibition / performance at the medieval Castle of Narni (Umbria, Italy). I participated with a light pulsing post-it installation where visitors where asked to focus on one of the many words written on post-its, and perform meditation techniques. TEMPLE FOR A LOST SOUL

BEYOND FEAR

UNPLUGGED
A personal exhibition at a cultural association in Tarquinia, where I mostly presented all my works from the “Unplugged” series, where I pushed the boundaries of my post-it art by printing and using serigraphy techniques on post-it notes, before englobing them in wax, resins and objects. AL NATURALE
A site-specific post-it art installation for a collective art exhibition in Rome focusing on environmental issues, for which I used real city smog scraped from buildings around the city. Villa Mazzanti, Rome. Read more for details.

ARTE AL FORTE: QUESTIONE DI VITA O DI SORTE
An art installation for the subterranean galleries of Forte Prenestino, with live creation of the work during a weekend. All painted post-it notes have been later gathered to create two “boxed” twin paintings. Forte Prenestino, Rome. Read more for details.

POST-IT ART
Extensive production and experimentation with post-it notes mixed with various media. Most of my post-it artworks are pure speculative experimentation, and have never been shown in a public exhibition. Check out my website for more info on post-it art.

APPARENTI TRASPARENZE
A personal exhibition part of a summer-long collective art initiative at the open air cinema Arena Esedra, which I’ve also curated and organized. This is also my first exhibition of artwork created with post-it notes. Arena Esedra, Rome. Read more for details.
